My Summer Vacation
Summer vacation was so much fun! I went to the beach with my family. We played in the sand and swam in the ocean. The water was a little cold, but it felt good on a hot day. I saw seagulls flying over the waves. They were looking for fish to eat. I even saw a crab scurrying across the sand! It was hard to catch because it moved so fast.
We also had a picnic on the beach. Mom packed sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. My favorit
e part was the chocolate chip cookies! After we ate, Dad and I went for a long walk. We found so many pretty seashells. I can't wait to show them to my friends when school starts again.
On the way home, we stopped for ice cream. I got a double scoop of strawberry and chocolate. It was the perfect way to end our beach day. I had such an amazing summer vacation! I wish it could last forever, but I'm also excited to go back to school and see my classmates again. Third grade is going to be the best!

My Summer Vacation
Summer vacation is the best time of the year! I had so much fun this summer. I went to the beach with my family for one week. We stayed in a big beach house right by the ocean. Every morning I would wake up and run outside to play in the sand and water. The waves were huge! I tried to surf for the first time. It was really hard but I didn't mind falling down. My little brother just played in the shallow water and built sandcastles.
In the afternoons, we would explore the beach town. There were lots of interesting shops and restaurants. I loved getting ice cream every day after lunch. My favorite flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough! One day we went mini golfing. The course had windmills and waterfalls and dinosaurs. I got a hole-in-one on the third hole! My dad says I'm a mini golf champion.
On the last day, we went on a boat tour to go whale watching. The boat rode over the big waves which was scary at first but then I thought it was fun, like a rollercoaster. We saw three huge whales! They came up for air and I could see their massive tails slapping the water. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I took about a million pictures.
After we got back home, I spent the rest of the summer hanging out with my friends from school. We had lemonade stands and played games like tag and hide-and-seek outside. A few times we went to the community pool together. I practiced swimming under water and doing cannonballs off the diving board. My mom had to tell me to stop because the lifeguards kept blowing their whistles at me!
The last week before school started, I was a little sad that vacation was over. But I'm also excited to see my friends again every day and to start learning new things. Third grade was fun but I think fourth grade will be even better. I'm ready! This was the best summer ever and I have so many amazing memories. I can't wait for next year's vacation!

哇,终于到春游的时候啦!我和爸爸妈妈,还有弟弟一大早就出发去公园了。
公园里到处都是绿油油的草地,还有漂亮的鲜花。有的花是红的,有的花是黄的,真漂亮啊!
我们先在草地上野餐,吃了爸爸妈妈准备的三明治和水果。太好吃了!吃饱饱之后,我和弟弟就开始到处跑跑跳跳玩起来。我们捉迷藏、踢足球、玩飞盘,简直不能再开心了!
中午时分,公园里来了很多其他的小朋友和家长。大家都三五成地野餐、嬉戏、放风筝。园子里到处洋溢着欢声笑语,好不热闹啊!
玩了一整天,我们大家又热又累。不过,我早就期待着下次的春游了!春天的公园真是个好去处,让小朋友们玩得尽兴。春游实在太有意思了!
