forget 的用法
●forget 的用法
forget:vt, vi -got, -gotten, -getting （常与about连用）忘记，忘掉
★forget to do sth: 忘记去干某事： eg: She forgot to post the letter. 她忘记寄这封信了。
★forget doing sth.忘记(干过某事) I'll never forget meeting my school headmaster for the first time.我永远忘不了和我小学校长初次见面的情景。
忘记带；忘记买 Don't forget the cases.  别忘了带箱子。
Don't forget your duties. 别玩忽职责。
★forget oneself 失态；忘形                                                                              ★forget about 忘记(有关情况）I have forgot all about it.                                                              ★注意：把某物忘在某地了，要用leave一词：                                                                        Ex of forget:
1). I am sorry I have forgotten ____ the letter for you. A. posting B. to post C. posted D. posts. (B).
2). I ____ my gloves in your car yesterday. A. forget B. have forget C. left D. have left (C). 
3). ---Have you forgotten ____ a ruler from Betty? ---Oh, yes, But I'll remember ____ it to her tomorrow. A. borrowing; to return B. borrowing; returning C. to borrow; to return D. to borrow; returning (A).
4).---- The light in the office is still on.　---- Oh，I forgot___. A. turning it off  B. turn it off  C. to turn it off  D. having turned it off  答案：C。由the light is still on 可知灯亮着，即关灯的动作没有发生，因此用forget to do sth.而forget doing sth表示灯已经关上了，而自己忘记了这一事实。此处不符合题意。
5). -Don't forget to come to my birthday party tomorrow. - ______ .A.I don't  B.I won't  C.I can't    D.I haven't (94, B).
