The Ugly Duckling
第一场
夏天，绿树，青草，白栅栏。丑小鸭躲在模拟的蛋壳内，鸭妈妈在蛋壳前面做孵蛋的样子，另外4只鸭蛋围住鸭妈妈，趴在地上成圆弧状.
音乐：（有鸟叫，知了叫等）及舞台布景组合出一幅恬静、温暖的乡村夏日风光图。
旁白：It was a lovely summer day in the country. A mother duck lies in the stook （柴堆）, she sat on her eggs for a long time, waiting for the birth of her children.（太阳暖烘烘的，鸭妈妈卧在稻草堆里，她在蛋上孵了很久, 等她的孩子们出世。）
Mother duck：Well, my babies, come out quickly please. I’m so tired.（伸懒腰）(哎，我的孩子们，你们怎么还不出世呀，可把妈妈累坏了！)鸭妈妈抚摸着鸭蛋，突然，一只鸭蛋动了一下。
小鸭1站了起来，看了一下周围的世界说：Baby duck 1: Peep, peep! Oh, what a beautiful w
orld!“哦，多么美丽的世界啊！” 接着，另外3只小鸭从蛋壳里逐渐在妈妈的抚摸中钻出来，东张西望，看到妈妈后，惊喜地跑过去，
Baby ducks：Hi, mummy! / Hi, Mummy!妈妈！妈妈！………

Mother duck：OK.my babies. You are all my good babies. Oh, Are you hungry now?
Baby ducks：Yes. I’m hungry .

场景：秋冬，黄叶，枯草。
旁白：Ugly duckling waddles and wades for a lonely time. She feels very thirsty and wants to drink some water. （丑小鸭离开了家。她很渴，想喝水。）
Birds：It’s very hot today . Let's drink some water.(小鸟飞到水塘边。)

Bird 2：Who are you?（惊讶地问）你是谁?
Ugly duckling：I’m …I’m …I’m a duckling.( 低着头，小声说。)
Bird 3：Ha, ha, look at your feathers(羽毛). You are so ugly!(小鸟拍拍自己身上的羽毛，作炫耀状。)
Ugly duckling:Yes. Maby I’m ugly.But I alonely wants to drink some water.
Bird 4：No.Go away! Don’t make the water dirty. 快走开,不要把我们的水弄脏了!( 小鸟推开丑小鸭，在池塘里快乐地洗羽毛，然后飞走。)
旁白：Winter comes. The ugly duckling is very lonely.The water becomes ice. It’s really very cold. There is no one outside. She feels very cold and lonely. How she wishes someone could help her! At last She could not move any more.
丑小鸭：Oh, I’m frozen. ( 晕倒在舞台上)
小小的太阳农夫：Well, poor duckling. Let me save you!（在丑小鸭身上摸了模）哎，可怜的小东西，还有救！（拾走“鸭子”）
第三场丑小鸭变天鹅
场景：春天，绿树，花草，音乐。构成一幅湖边春光图。
画外音：Spring is coming again! Spring is coming again! It’s getting warm.Ugly duckling fly to the lake. Oh,It’s beautiful here. Ugly duckling can fly.She sees some beautiful white swans over there. Ugly duckling wants to play with them.（春天来了，花开了，丑小鸭扑扑翅膀，向湖边飞去。。看见湖面上有几只美丽的白天鹅，雪白的羽毛，长长的脖子，美丽极了。他多想和他们一起玩啊！）
