自十八世纪工业革命以来，机械工业迅猛发展，已成为人类提高生产效率和生活水平的主要手段。有运动就要润滑，性能优异的润滑油犹如机器的血液，是确保机器持续高效运转的重要介质。
Since the advent of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century, the mechanic industry has seen a vigorous growth and become a major tool for human beings to improve production efficiency and living standard. The ubiquitous mechanical motion requires lubrication by excellent lube (lubrication oil of excellent quality?) - the blood of machines, that is essential to sustain their efficient operation.

nologies, and premium services, it is committed to providing customers with high-quality products. In the past decade, our lubrication oil has seen continuous improvement in marketing, product portfolio, and economic benefits. In 2009, the production and sales volume were up to two million metric tons, of which high-end products accounted for 70%, representing a profit of RMB200 million, thanks to our domestically leading lubrication oil technologies.

CNPC has a R&D team of more than 500 professionals at Lanzhou R&D Center, Dalian R&D Center, and Kelamayi Research Institute, who have created remarkable outcomes applying nearly 100 sets of lubrication oil analysis and evaluation equipments.
齿轮油及其添加剂的研发，创造性的解决了高温氧化、水解和极端条件下抗磨的技术难题，高端产品市场占有率达到30%，创造经济效益4亿元，KDL16多效齿轮油被总装备部认定为六十周年国庆阅兵传动系统指定用油，荣获 11项中外专利以及我国润滑油领域唯一国家发明

We have developed gear oil and its additives that innovatively address the technical challenges of oxidation at high temperature, hydrolysis, and anti-abrasion under extreme conditions. These products account for 30% of the high-end market, and create a profit of RMB400 million. Our multi-effect gear oil KDL16 was chosen as the designated transmission oil for the military parade in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China by the General Armament Department of PLA. The product features 11 patents at home and abroad, and is the one and only winner of Chinese National Invention Award in the field of lubrication oil.
