XI’AN JIAOTONG UNIVERSITY CITY COLLEGE
西安交通大学城市学院是由西安交通大学和西安经发集团控股的西安交大博通资讯股份有限公司共同举办并经国家教育部2004年5月批准设立的全日制本科层次的独立学院。
学院依托西安交通大学百年名校雄厚的师资力量、规范而严格的教学管理优势，根据现代科学技术发展趋势和地方经济社会发展需求设置专业。任课教师和管理干部主要从西安交通大学选聘，确保教学质量和办学方向。学院现设有电气与信息工程、计算机科学与信息管理、机械工程、应用经济、管理、外语、艺术设计、护理等8个系以及数学、体育、思政3个教研室和物理教学中心，共有28个本科专业。学院建设有物理、电路、电子、机械、计算机、经管及艺术设计等实验室75个；建设有经管类、信息类、计算机类实习实训基地40余个。学院面向全国招生，目前有全日制本科学生10600余名。
学院座落于西安经济开发区草滩生态产业园，校园占地500亩，规划建筑面积30万平方米。校园周围绿水环绕、花果飘香、空气清新，基本设施先进，办学条件齐备。经过八年的发展，学
院已经建立起一支以主任教授和专业（课程）首席教授为核心，以教授、副教授为骨干的专兼结合、素质优良、结构较为合理的师资队伍。学院现有专职和专任教师580余名，45%具有高级技术职务；80%具有硕士以上学历。学院成立八年来，初步形成了具有培养高素质应用型人才的城市学院特的培养方案和良好的校风学风，学院的教学质量得到了学生、家长与社会的一致认可，社会声誉和影响力不断提升，在社会上逐步树立起了良好的形象与品牌。学院的招生生源充足，录取的学生中相当大一部分在二本线以上，招生质量位居陕西省独立学院第一，处于全国同类院校前列；学院的毕业生在社会上已经有了较高的认可度，2010年、2011年就业均在95.%以上。这几年，学院先后被有关媒体评为“综合实力20强独立学院”、“中国10大品牌独立学院”和“全国中学生最信赖的十佳独立学院”。2010年7月学院被中国独立学院协作会评为“全国先进独立学院”，2011年6月被中国民办教育协会高等教育专业委员会评为“中国民办高等教育优秀院校”。学院的国际合作办学与学术交流工作走在了全国独立学院的前列，与美国内布拉斯加林肯大学、加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学以及台湾的义守大学等开展了实质性合作办学，标志着学院已迈开了国际化办学的坚实步伐！

About XJTUCC
  Xi’an Jiaotong University City College (XJTUCC), approved by the Ministry of Education of the PRC in May, 2004, is an independent college which offers full-time undergraduate programs. It was co-founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University(XJTU) and the Xi’an But’one Information Ltd. of Xi’an Kingfar Group.
  The college, based on XJTU’s long tradition of superb management, excellent faculty and staff, and its constant maintenance of standardized and strict teaching administration, has developed a new set of majors in order to meet the ever growing demands of modern technology and local economic and social development. The teachers and management personnel of the college are selected primarily from those of XJTU with the purpose of guaranteeing the teaching quality. There are eight departments with 28 majors including Electric and Information Engineering, Computer Science and Information Management, Me
chanical Engineering, Applied Economy, Business Administration, Foreign Language, Art & Design, Nursing, three Teaching and Research Sections of Mathematics, Ideology & Politics, and Physical Education as well as a Physics Teaching Center. There are 75 lab houses for physics, circuitry, electronics, mechanical engineering, computer science, business management and art & design. More than 40 training bases for business management, information, and computer technology are available. Currently the college has an enrollment of approximately 10,600 full-time undergraduates from all parts of the country.
西安有哪些二本大学  XJTUCC is located in Caotan Ecology & Industry Garden in Xi’an Economy Development Zone with a campus area of 500mu (about 33.35hectares) and a building space of 300,000 square meters. It is surrounded by green trees with dense foliage, a lush and luxuriant orchard, and blue, clear rivers. The air is fresh and the environment is very good for study. During the eight years since its establishment, the college has gradually formed its own strong system of faculty and staff led by established deans and leading major professor, thus establishing a strong basic core of academic excellence. There are more than 580 full-
time and regular teachers, 45% of whom hold senior specialized technical positions and 80% have a Master’s degree or above. Because of its commitment to establishing and maintaining a strong academic core, XJTUCC has garnered a growing reputation of excellence and influence; hence, the teaching quality of the college is acknowledged by the students, parents, and the community. Its enrollment ranks first among all independent colleges in Shaanxi Province, and ranks among the top in national independent colleges. Furthermore, the enrollment scores of the majority of students are within the enrollment qualification line of the second-class universities. In fact, XJTUCC graduates had an average employment rate of 95% in 2010 and 2011. In recent years, it has been named by the media as one of the “ Top 20 Comprehensive Independent Colleges”, ”Top 10 National Independent Colleges”, and “Top 10 Independent Colleges Trusted by Middle School Students”. In July, 2010, the National Independent College Association designated XJTUCC as an “Advanced National Independent College”. In June, 2011, the Chinese Association for Non-government Education Higher Education Committee designated it as an “Excellent College of National Non-government Higher Education”. Its international coop
erative education and academic exchange ranks in the first line among national independent colleges. The educational partnerships between XJTUCC and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States, Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada, and the ISU University in Taiwan underscores a strong international cooperative program.
  XJTUCC is an innovative university born out of the reform and development of national higher education. Its long-term commitment and development aims to create an independent college within two decades which constantly meets the demands of local economic development, trains students to face the challenges of the current employment market, strives to implement a modern college management style, and encourages international cooperative education.
