Volunteer service activities are becoming more and more popular among young people. As a middle school student, I am very happy to take part in such activities.
Recently, I joined a volunteer service activity. We went to an old people's home in the suburbs. We helped the elderly with their daily life and brought them some necessities. We also communicated with them, listened to their stories and shared our stories with them. We were so moved by their stories that we were determined to do more for them.志愿者英语作文
The volunteer service activity has broadened my horizon and enriched my life. I have gained a lot from this activity. On the one hand, I have learnt to be kind and generous to others. On the other hand, I have become more confident and independent. I am proud of myself for being able to contribute to society.
I believe that volunteer service activities are beneficial to both the volunteers and the people who are helped. I hope more and more people will take part in such activities and make our society better and better.
