Let the classics be classics
Recently,some person argues about that whether we should let the classics be classics.Some persons think they are to be treasured by persons of all generations,for they have defended the test of time,while other persons believe the classics exemplify the wisdom of the past,as we are advancing towards the future,it is our responsibility to venture into the unknown and generate new sympathy of man and nature.
An old saying goes like this" True gold fears no fire",why classics are classics must have their own causes,we needn't suspect about this.As far as I am concerned,we should always regard them as treasures,for they are worthless and can't be displaced by anything,and the most crucial point is that they have already been the histories.
For instance,the traditional Chinese dress, suit.In accordance with the tradition,a suit can be traced back to the Yellow Emperor,a great king of ancient China whom legend says ruled in the 27th century BC.A Suit itself takes a recorded history of more than 3000 years.The traditional dress of many Asian nations have been influenced by suit,especially those of Japan and Korea.Suit was regarded by the Tang Chinese as an extremely important part of their culture.The wearing of appropriate style of a suit was an i
mportant part of courteous behavior,Confucius considered suit a very essential part of ceremony and ritual and many of his quotations see references to suit.According to Tang dynasty scholar,Chinese clothing plays an important part in the ethnic identity.It says"In China,there is the grander of rites and social conduct,that is why it is called Xia.There is the beauty of dress and decoration,this is called Hua."The words Hua and Xia combine to form the word Huaxia,which is a name that is often used to represent the Chinese civilization.Besides,it still has strongly affects to the today's world.
The criterion we use to evaluate a thing whether classics mainly lies in the attributions it has to the person and society.It includes the knowledge and sweats of the ancient people,day by day,year and year,we should treasure them and protect them at the bottom of our hearts.
In today's rapid economic development of the society,many people are chasing for fashion and forgotten classics.But as a hard-working teenager,we are obliged to search the unknown world and achieve combination of both human and nature.
