摘要
二十一世纪的今天伴随着索尼公司和微软游戏机的发布,游戏进入了高品质画面的时代。由于游戏机硬件的不断发展和进步,以及人们对游戏画面冲击力的不断追求,次世代游戏在品质上面与传统PC相比上了一个大台阶。由此次世代游戏美术制作相关领域的技术发展也受到游戏美术制作人员的巨大关
注。同时以暴雪公司为龙头的网络游戏也飞速发展,<;魔兽世界>等一批高品质画面、人物的优质网络出现在世人面前,吸引了众多游戏玩家的目光。
一款游戏是否受到玩家喜爱有很多复杂的因素,而游戏美术不可否认的占据着其中重要的位置。游戏美术直接体现了游戏风格的定位和游戏世界中玩家的直接视觉感受,通常而言是一个玩家决定是否接受游戏的关键环节。
和传统游戏相比,次世代游戏是把次世代数字艺术技术融入到游戏之中,通过增加模型和贴图的数据量并使用次世代游戏引擎改善游戏的画面效果,使游戏可以达到更好的画面效果。本文通过仔细分析说明了角及场景模型设计的原则、规范和流程,从而深入的分析总结次世代角及场景模型的创建、高模的制作、法线贴图的烘焙,如何选择合适的建模软件和建模方法进行游戏角及场景的制作,分析和研究不同建模技术的利弊成为解决这一问题的关键。
本文对次世代游戏产业的背景以及角和场景制作的相关技术做了深入的探讨和研究,并且通过自己的制作实践总结了一套具体的形而有效的制作方法。本文的主要工作是对次世代游戏角及场景的设计制作和底层技术作深入的研究、分析、实践和总结,到了一套行而有效的适合各类游戏平台的制作方法。

ABSTRACT
Twenty-first Century - with the Sony Corp and Microsoft Game release, the game into a high quality picture era. Due to the continuous development of console hardware and progress, and people on the game screen impact of constant pursuit, next generation game on quality compared with the traditional PC on a big stage. Technology development by the generation game art production related fields have also been great attention the game art personnel. Network game with blizzard company as the leader of the rapid development of world of Warcraft, < > and so on a number of high-quality, high-quality network picture characters appear in front of the world, has attracted many game player's eyes.
A game by the game player is loved by lots of complicated factors, and game art undeniable occupies the important position. Feel the direct visual game player game art directly reflects the style of the game and the game world, game player is a key to decide whether to accept the game generally.
Compared with the traditional game, next generation game is the next generation of digital art and technology into the game, improve the game picture effect by increasing the amount of data model a
nd mapping and the use of next generation game engine, the game can achieve better visual effect. This paper points out the role and the scene model design principles, norms and procedures, and in-depth analysis of next generation character and scene model construction, high mold making, the normal map baking, making how to choose appropriate modeling software and modeling method of game characters and scenes, the advantages and disadvantages of the analysis and research of different modeling technology has become the key to solve this problem.
The next-gen game industry background as well as the role and the scene production related technology to do an in-depth discussion and research, and through the production of their own practice, summed up a set of specific shape making method and effective. The main work of this thesis is to make thorough research, analysis, practice and summary of the next-gen game character and scene design and the underlying technology, to find an effective method for the production of various types of game platform.
