面签步骤
1）排队以及初检个人信息
请一定要按照预约的时间提前至少半小时到达大使馆/领事馆排队等候。一般而言，大使馆/领事馆都会竖起预约时间的牌子分批等候的，请站到你的预约时间的牌子前面的队伍。
排队期间，工作人员会请你拿出身份证以及预约确认函对照，确认在官方记录里你是不是应该在今天面签。然后开始排队准备安检。部分使领馆会在此时再次检查和预录你的护照信息以及DS160表格上交确认函，然后在你的护照背面贴上护照对应的条形码。
2）安检
请注意，面签不允许带任何电子通信产品（比如手机）、任何刀具、任何包包，只能带装有面签材料的文件袋，并且在过安检的时候文件袋是要打开的，不能密封。
3）核查个人信息潸然泪下造句
进入第一类窗口，会有工作人员让你提交护照以及DS160表格。如果F1携签F2，两人需要到同一个窗口上交这两样东西。如果照片不合格，可能需要重新上交照片，没有带照片的话，宽松一点的工作人员会放你过，严格一点的话就要让你重新拍照了。
因此，填写签证申请表时一定要用近期照片，至少照片上的你和面签时候的你相貌上没有太大区别。剪短发、染头发、烫头发、割双眼皮神马的最好还是暂缓。
4）打指纹
打指纹的时候要用到步骤一种贴在护照背面的条形码。打指纹的工作人员会要求你交上护照，或者将护照背面朝工作人员，以便工作人员通过玻璃窗扫码（广州目前是后面一种）。先左手、右手除了拇指外的四个指头，然后两个拇指并排再打一次。
5) 面签
F1、F2需要到同一个窗口，同时上交护照以及I-20，开始面签。
八、我的面签经历
我们的整体面签时间只有2分钟左右，什么材料都没看。面签的是一个亚裔男VO，中文流利，语速快。对话如下：
VO：What's your relationship? Who is the F1?
我：Spouse. I am the F1.
VO: Which city are you going?
我：Tempe in Arizona.
VO: What major are you studying there?
我：Religious Studies. (此时VO做出了一个“我勒个去”的惊吓表情，对此我表示习以为常……）
VO：Wow, how long have you been interested in this field?
我：About I have got a master degree in this major ....（因为紧张所以说的不太流利……好囧，然后VO马上安慰说不要紧张，然后开始笑，到这里基本上就确定没问题了）
VO：（转向老公） Can you speak English?
老公：Yes.
VO：（翻了一下老公的护照）Can you speak Russian?
(我和老公都愣了一下，没想到为什么会问这个……)
老公：No…………
VO：Why did you go to Russia？
老公：I went to Lake Baikal……（原来是因为他护照上有俄罗斯签证= =）
VO：（转向我）How did you hear about this university?
我：My advisor is very famous because she has a lot of academic resoureces in this field. I think I can benefit a lot from her, so I applied for this program at ASU.
VO：What's your plan after studying in US?
（听到这个问题基本上就是最后一个问题了。）
我：I will look for a teaching position back in China or some other countries in Southeast Asia because my focus is related to that.
然后VO把I-20还给我们，Congratulations!~ 小黄条到手~~~
最后给大家一点经验：
面签千万千万千万不要碰到亚裔！女性！的VO！！！不涉及歧视问题，而是无数实践证明，碰到此类VO，无论是在哪个使领馆，大多数人都难逃被问20分钟-半小时的厄运…………准备材料充分、英语流利还好说一些，最怕被问的时间越长越紧张越露怯。

Me: I actually go there to take care of my husband because he is studying there.
签证官说 ： Oh, he is studying 而且笑了一下说OK.
2. Can I see his Visa?
Me: sure. 给他我老公的Visa复印件，他看了一下问我
Is he Indonesian?
Me: yes he is Indonesian. （我老公是印尼华侨，估计签证官看到他那串名字wondering怎么不是中国人）
3. So he is studying in Indiana?
Me: yes, doing his MBA at Kelley business school.
4. He worked in SHanghai before?
Me: yes, we also met in Shanghai.
手绢是什么演变来的签证官大概会问的问题：（这些是我被问的）
1.      你来美国做什么：要知道简单的行程安排和出境时长，千万别给签证官感觉你有移民倾向（比如你一去不复返之类的） 所以要知道大概来回的日子
幼儿园制度
2.      去哪些城市：　这个很重要，不要只说美国东海岸or西海岸，要specific的城市名！！
3.      你在做什么工作：如实回答就好~
4.      你去到美国要住在哪里：这个就可以大概说 哪个城市的哪个hotel呀或者说家人朋友的家就好~
如果你的英文说的不好的话说中文就好，回答问题的时候一定要自信！！ 不要紧张不要支支吾吾的~
F1: Good morning, Sir. My family are here for student visas, F1 for myself, and F2 for my husband and daughter.

VO: Are you a professor?

F1: Not yet, I'm an associate professor at ...... university.

VO: Have you got a PhD？

F1: No, I've just got a master's degree from ...... university.


VO: So, you will study education?

F1: Yes.

VO: Have you studied in the US?

F1: Yes, I was a visiting scholar back in ...... in ......

VO: Are your family staying in the US the whole time?

F1: My daughter will stay most of the time; my husband has to work in China, but will stay as much as possible.
Questions
1. Why not continue your studies in China?
Because my career goals are to become a senior executive in a 5-star hotel within 5 years and set up my own hotel within 10 years. In order to achieve these goals, I need advanced and professional knowledge in Hospitality Management. The US can provide the best opportunity for me to get what I need.
You know, there is still a gap between Chinese educational level and the American’s. The US has the best educational recourses and models in the world, and the American education combines practical experience with classroom theory while the Chinese education focuses more on theory.
提升团队执行力Moreover, hospitality industry is highly developed in America. So I can learn the latest information about hospitality management to enrich my knowledge.
2. How long will you study in USA?
