简介2我们知道古时候有很多禁忌和崇拜，“泰山石敢当”就是其中之一。泰山石敢当习俗的主要表现形式是将小石碑立于桥道要冲或砌于房屋墙壁，上面刻写上“石敢当”或“泰山石敢当”之类的字样，可镇压一切不祥之邪。“石敢当”习俗分布的地区十分广泛，以山东泰山地区为中心，逐渐扩散到全国各地和东亚的日本、韩国及东南亚和世界各地的华侨居住区。2006年泰山石敢当习俗被列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
石敢当，古代神名，又叫泰山石敢当，石将军、石神等，石敢当习俗起源于上古时期的灵石崇拜。明代以后，石敢当信仰与东岳泰山崇拜紧密结合，由“石敢当”发展到“泰山石敢当”，其

传说在泰山脚下的一个村子里住着一个壮士，姓石，名敢当。为人正直勇敢，爱打抱不平，在泰山一带很有名。有一天，石敢当进城卖柴，见贴有王员外的告示：谁能为他家降妖，愿将女儿许配为妻。石敢当见义勇为，决心除害，他持宝剑藏在小房中，当妖精进
来时，他举剑大喝一声：“泰山石敢当在此！”妖精一听，吓得驾起妖风狼狈逃走。事后，小和石敢当成了亲过起了美满日子。谁知妖精逃走后，又到别村去祸害。村民听说石敢当能驱妖，便来请他。可是，石敢当往这村赶，妖精又跑到那村去造孽。石敢当又没有分身法，怎么办呢？后来，聪明的妻子对他说：“何不把你的名字刻在石碑上，放在宅墙上镇妖呢。”于是，人们纷纷在石头上雕刻“泰山石敢当”五字，立于墙根、街巷、桥头、要冲，以保村宅平安。
