The term “mood” refers to how we feel at a particular time. But our mood cannot be totally under our control. They may be affected by many factors. Believe it or not, the colors we see may affect our mood. People feel differently when they see different colors.
The colors yellow and orange make people feel happier. People say those who like yellow or orange must be optimistic and active and those who like blues and greens must be calm and shy. Red is the color of fire, and it attracts people’s attention in a distance. It is such a strong color that sometimes it makes people nervous. Blues and greens, on the contrary, are like McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken, avoid greens and blues, because those colors tend to make people take longer over meals.
On the whole, people tend to regard blue and green as cool, quiet colors, while yellow and especially red are considered warm colors. Knowledge of color preference is of important application in life. That is the reason why people are very choosy about colors when decoration their rooms.
