Act 1:(Stage set: Little Red Riding Hood's house)
Narrator: Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a small village with her mother and father.
(Little Red Riding Hood enters)
LR: Good morning, everyone!
Narrator: Every day Little Red Riding Hood wore a red hooded cloak, which her grandmother had made for her. She loved it so much that she never took it off.
LR: Today I am going to visit my grandmother. She is lonely and needs company.
(LR starts to exit stage)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother lived in a small cottage on the other side of the forest. Before she leaves, her mother reminds her to stay on the path and not to talk to strangers.
Act 2:(Stage set: Forest)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood walks through the forest singing a song.
(LR is singing and then the Big Bad Wolf enters from stage left)
BBW: Hello there, little girl. Where are you going?
LR: I'm going to my grandmother's house. She is very sick and needs medicine.
BBW: Oh, poor thing. I hope she gets better soon.
LR: Thank you.
(BBW starts to exit)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood continues on her way, but she doesn't know that the Big Bad Wolf has other plans.
(LR exits)
Act 3:(Stage set: Grandmother's house)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood finally reaches her grandmother's house.
(LR enters)
LR: Grandmother, are you okay?
Grandmother: Yes, I am fine, my dear.

LR: Grandmother, what big eyes you have!

Narrator: Suddenly, the Big Bad Wolf jumps out from under the covers.
BBW: The better to eat you with, my dear!
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood screams and runs out of the house.
(LR exits)
Act 4:(Stage set: Forest)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood runs through the forest and she meets a woodcutter.
(Woodcutter enters)
Woodcutter: Little girl, what's wrong?
LR: The Big Bad Wolf ate my grandmother!
Woodcutter: Don't worry, I will help you.
Narrator: The woodcutter follows Little Red Riding Hood to the grandmother's house.
(Stage set: Grandmother's house)
Narrator: They see the Big Bad Wolf sleeping in grandmother's bed.
(BBW is sleeping on the bed)
Woodcutter: Be quiet, Little Red Riding Hood. We must catch him by surprise.
Narrator: The woodcutter quickly grabs an axe.
(Woodcutter grabs the axe)
Woodcutter: Stand back!
Narrator: The woodcutter runs towards the bed and swings his axe.
(Woodcutter swings the axe and hits the wolf)
Narrator: The wolf falls to the ground, dead.
(Wolf falls to the ground)
Act 5:(Stage set: Grandmother's house)
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood and the woodcutter go to check on the grandmother.
(LR and Woodcutter go to check on grandmother)
Grandmother: Thank you for saving me.
Woodcutter: It was nothing, ma'am.
LR: I am so glad you are okay, grandmother.
Narrator: Little Red Riding Hood's mother and father arrive at the house.
(LR's parents enter)
Mother: Little Red Riding Hood, are you okay?
LR: Yes, mother. I am fine.
Father: What happened here?
