1)播放关于母亲的视频,引出关于母亲定义的诗歌(5’)
2)母亲节来历(10’)
由外教介绍并设知识问答,如母亲节该送什么花,母亲节什么时候等等
3)《游子吟》英文译本背诵比赛 (15’)
a)每个学员上台后要做下自我介绍(一句话),然后开始背诗
b)背完后给时间让每个学员说下除了自己以外,哪个学员背的最好,并说下原因
c)外教做下总评 得分最高的有礼品
评分标准:内容的准确性、发音、情感上的表达
4)爱心折纸活动(15’)
全民参与
给学员发放纸和贺卡
由外教英文讲解用纸折爱心的方法,PPT放折纸步骤
学员自己琢磨研究折爱心方法,不会的Cathy示范
折好后,在贺卡上写下想对母亲说的话并画上一副画
在学员折爱心过程中由学员Gina吟诗(关于母亲的)
5)60秒不NG *2 (5’)
请5位学员上台
1号2号背靠背夹苹果,把苹果从一边运到另一边的脸盆里,运苹果之前需说“Go”运的过程中需说“An apple a day keeps doctor away.”,等成功运到盆里之后需说“I’ve finished”.
3号原地转三圈看屏幕上给出的一句话,并把这句话倒着读,绕圈之前需说“I like whirlwind”并看完屏幕上的一句话,读完那句话后说Come on!
4号仰面朝天,在鼻梁上方放一块饼干,通过面部运动,将饼干送入嘴中吃完,吃完后说“Yummy!”and “Next one”
5号做个动作,按Cathy示范的动作来,动作对即可。做完后说“Finished”
什么时候是母亲节7)古典舞蹈欣赏 (4’)
8)单词接龙 *2 (5-10’)
如:Mother(r)-right(t)-tea(a)
选6到7名学员上场,进行单词接龙大赛,如果参赛者在前一名参赛者说出单词3秒后没有接上,就淘汰出局,最后一名留在台上者获胜
9)现场采访 (5-10’)
请妈妈在现场学员上台来把想对妈妈说的话用英文表达出来(附康乃馨一支),主持人可以现场翻译下,并采访妈妈的感受

The thread in the hands of a fond-hearted mother
Makes clothes for the body of her wayward boy;

After the recitation, the participants will be required to choose a student who he thinks does the best besides himself and offer the reason. Then the foreign teacher will make a general comment on the performance. The champion will be awarded a gift.
The criteria:accuracy of the content、pronunciation and emotional expressing
4)DIY gift----Folding Paper of heart-shape( all participate)
(hand out a piece of paper and a card to each student)
Foreign teacher explains how to do that and the PPT also shows the steps
Cathy demonstrates how to fold if necessary
After that, draw a picture related to mother and write down some words they want to say to their mothers.
(In the process, Student Gina will read poems related to mother)
5)No NG(no good) in 60 seconds
Invite 5 students
No.1 and No.2 move an apple from one side to a basin on the other side, back to back, no hand. Say ”Go” before they do, “An apple a day keeps doctor away.” in the process, and “I’ve finished!” after that.
No.3 Turn in circles 3 times and read the sentence on the screen from back to fro. Before turning, say “I like whirlwind” and “Come on!” after reading the sentence.
No.4 Put a biscuit on his/her upturned face, try to remove it to his/her mouth by the facial muscular movement, after that say “Yummy” and “Next one”
No.5 Do as Cathy does. Say “finished” after that.
6) Appreciate the dance by Summer
7) Word chain
Give a word and say a new word that must begin with the last letter of the given word.
6-7 people
Mother(r)-right(t)……
(Time permitting, this can be played twice)
8)Interview
Invite students to speak what they want to say to their mother and also invite their mothers to share what they think at that time.
