一、学科、专业简介 (Disciplines Instruction)
经济学是研究人类社会在各个发展阶段上的各种经济活动和各种相应的经济关系，及其运行、发展规律的科学。应用经济学是经济学的其中一个重要学科分支，它主要运用理论经济学的基本原理和分析方法，研究国民经济各个部门、各个专业领域的经济活动和经济关系的规律性，或对非经济活动领域进行经济效益、社会效益的分析。具有理论联系实际、应用性强，直接服务与经济建设的特点。应用经济学的学科内容是适应社会经济发展的需要而不断
扩充、不断充实的。应用经济学的发展，离不开社会经济实践，离不开理论经济学的指导，但它们的发展反过来又丰富了理论经济学的内容，起着指导实践的作用。应用经济学包括13各主要学科方向：国民经济学、区域经济学、财政学、金融学、产业经济学、国际贸易学、劳动经济学、经济统计学、数量经济学、国防经济、保险学、金融工程和税收学。
Economics is a science which studies on a variety of economic activities and corresponding relationships in various stages of human society development as well as the operation and the law of development. As an important branch of economics, applied economics studies on the regularity of economic activities and relationships in all kinds of departments and professional fields of national economy or analyses on the economic and social benefits of non-economic areas by the basic principle and analysis method of theoretical economics. Featured by theory linked with practice and wide application, applied economics can serve in economy directly. The subject content of applied economics has been constantly enriched in order to meet the demands of the development of socio-economy. Applied economics has developed considerably under th
e guide of socio-economic practices and theoretical economics, which in turn plays an important role in enriching theoretical economics and guiding practice. Applied economics includes 13 directions: National Economics, Regional Economics, Public Finance Program, Finance, Industrial Economics, International Trade, Labor Economics, Economic Statistics, Quantitative Economics, National Defense Economy, Insurance, Finance Engineering and Taxation.
应用经济学是我校的优势学科，本学科师资力量雄厚，年龄结构合理。目前共有专任教师35人，其中教授9人、副教授14人，讲师12人，具有博士学位的11人。40岁以下的教师占75%。本学科已形成几支具有较强实力的学术团队，研究方向主要集中在：区域经济理论与政策、区域规划、国际贸易理论与政策、国际商务、国际服务贸易、经济计量分析与预测、金融计量分析方法与风险管理、经济系统优化、金融理论与政策、银行经营与管理及投资理论与实务等方面。经过近20年的建设与发展，本学科积累了相当丰硕的研究成果，近年来，本学科学术带头人和主要学术骨干先后承担并主持完成了多项国家社会科学和国家软科学项目、省市社会科学规划和软科学项目、省市重点招标项目、国家和地方政府委托项目，出版专著30余部，在《中国软科学》、《经济研究》、《金融研究》、《经济学
动态》、《地理学报》、《长江流域资源与环境》、《人民日报》、《光明日报》、《国际贸易》、《经济管理》等重要杂志和CSSCI收录期刊发表300余篇高质量的学术论文，先后获省社会科学优秀成果一、二、三等奖7项，获山东省软科学优秀成果一等奖3项、二等奖22项、三等奖39项，获青岛市社会科学优秀成果奖40余项。
Applied economics is the preponderant discipline in QUST. There are 35 full-time teachers, among whom 11 have PhD diploma, 9 are professors, 14 associate professors and 12 lecturers. 75% teachers are under the age of 40. The program has formed several academic teams which focused on different directions: regional economic theory and policy, urban development, regional planning, international trade theory and policy, international business, international service trade, econometric analysis and forecasting, financial analysis and risk management measure, the economic system optimization, financial theory and policy, banking operations and management, investment theory and practice. After nearly 20 years of development, the discipline has accumulated quite fruitful research results. Scholars here have undertaken a number of national and provincial social science projects and soft science research projects, key bidding projects,
and commissioned projects from state and local government. More than 30 books and 300 high-quality papers and articles have been published. Our excellent research in social science has been proven by the many awards given by Shandong Province and Qingdao city.
依靠学科专业优势,参与地方社会经济的发展规划是本学科团队长期重点从事的工作，本学科团队先后主持和参与了国家、省级和青岛市各类课题100余项，为政府决策提供了科学依据。
Relying on the advantage of the discipline, the long-term priority of our program is to participate in local socio-economic development. We has hosted and participated in over 100 national, provincial and city level development planning, providing scientific grounds for the government to formulate regional development policies.
二、培养目标 (Objectives of Training)
本专业培养具有良好的政治思想道德素质，严谨求实的科学态度和创新意识，掌握扎实的
经济学理论基础，具备系统的应用经济学专门知识、独立工作能力和较强创新能力，能承担政府机关、事业部门、研究机构、金融机构、企业组织等的中高层管理、咨询和研究工作以及本专业或相关专业领域的教学工作的高级专门人才。具体要求：
The program aims at culturing high-level specialists who have scientific attitude and creativeness. The graduate should have a good and systematic command of economic theory and practice and can work independently. They should be fully qualified for the work in government agencies, business sector, research institutions, financial institutions, business organizations and intermediate and senior management or advisory. The specific requirements are as follows:
1、坚持德、智、体全面发展的方针，培养适应现代化建设需要，能从事政府机关、事业部门、研究机构、金融机构、企业组织等的中高层管理、咨询和研究工作以及本专业或相关专业领域教学工作的研究型人才。
Adhering to the guidelines of comprehensive development, the graduate program aims to cultivate research talents who can engage in intermediate and senior management, advis
ory , teaching and research in government agencies, departments, research institutions, financial institutions and business organizations.
2、学生应掌握本学科坚实的基础理论、系统的专门知识，掌握相应的技能、方法和相关知识；理论联系实际，具有应用经济学问题的观察分析能力、经济政策和计划的决策与执行能力、从事经济发展的研究和管理的具体工作能力。
Students should have a good command of theory, professional knowledge, skills, methods and related knowledge; they should be able to integrate theory with practice, to observe and analyze the problems of economic applications, to make and execute economic policies, and to engage in the research and management of economic development.
3、学生应具有较强的计算机应用能力，至少熟练掌握和运用一门外国语，能熟练的阅读本专业的外文资料，具有一定的写作能力和进行国际学术交流的能力。
Students should have proficient computer skills. They should grasp one foreign language
and have the ability to read foreign literatures. Student should have good writing skills and the ability on international academic exchanges.
三、学制及学习年限 （Educational System and Length of Schooling）
硕士生的学制为3学年，学习年限最长不超过4学年。其中课程学习一般为两个学期，论文工作不少于1学年；可根据实际情况允许研究生提前或延期毕业；在职硕士生学习年限可相应延长半学年到1学年。
The educational period of graduate is three years, which should be no more than 4 years: Course-study is about two semesters; thesis writing is at least one year. According to the actual situation, students are allowed to advance or delay graduation; the years of study for non-resident students can be extended from six months to a year.
