Unit 2 Last weekend A Let’s talk

一、教学目标
1.学习单词weekend, drank, show, anything, else.
2.全体学生能运用:What did you do? I stayed at home with your grandma. We drank tea in the afternoon and watched TV.
3.掌握动词过去式的句子。
4.能朗读课文,并能进行角表演。
5.在小组的讨论交流中,培养学生英语的综合运用能力。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:
掌握A Let’s talk的四会句型,并询问别人的周末情况,包括周末过得怎样以及进行了哪些活动。
教学难点:
能运用一般过去时表达自己在过去时间内所做的事情,以及运用重点句型询问他人在过去的时间所做的事情并做答。

Step 1 Warm-up

Step 2 Presentation
1. Let’s try
Ss listen and do exercises.
2. T: Today is Wednesday, March 18th, this Saturday and Sunday, we call “this weekend”. Last Saturday and Sunday, we call “last weekend”. March 9th to 14th, we call “last week”.
3. T: How was your weekend?
T teaches” It was good/fine/great/OK”, “It wasn't very good”.
4. Pair-work
A: How was your weekend?
B: It was _____.
5. T: What did you do last weekend? First let’s see our friends, what did they do last weekend.
T shows some pictures.
Ss: What did you do?
T teaches “watched TV, washed my clothes, cleaned my room, stayed at home, drank water ”

Ss listen and answer two questions.

七、课后反思
本课时主要是让学生学会运用一般过去时表达自己在过去时间内所做的事情,以及运用重点句型询问他人在过去的时间所做的事情并做答。本课时的重点句型是: How was your weekend? It was …, thanks./…. What did you do last weekend? I ….Did you do anything else? ….兴趣是最好的老师,在小学阶段学习英语重在培养学生的学习兴趣,因此在教学过程中,首先让学生通过做、说对五年级时已经学过的动词短语进行简单的复习并达到热身的效果。同时,语言的学习离不开真实的学习情境,所以情境的创设也很重要。通过一个小组对话,让学生通过谈论自己周末,在复习本单元重点句型的基础上来综合运用第一环节复习的动词过去时短语。这堂课也存在着以下几点不足:1、学生分组练习时,确实每个学生都有了练习的机会,但是老师能关注到的,能在全班学生面前表演的也只能是个别小组。所以在以后的教学中,在面向全体的同时更多地关注后进生,使平时学习有困难的学生能够基本掌握新内容。2、评价方式比较单一。整堂课虽然是老师评价和学生评价相结合,但只拘泥于语言的评价,还应该运用多种有效的评价方式,充分调动学生的积极性。
