强调句的三种结构及在高考中的应用
山东省邹平县长山中学曹庆亮强调句是一种修辞，是人们为了表达自己的意愿或情感而使用的一种形式，下面简单归纳它的几种结构：
1．用助动词“do（does／did）＋动词原形”来强调谓语动词：do，does表现在，did表过去
He does know the place well．他的确很熟悉这个地方。
Do write to me when you get there．你到那儿后务必给我来信。
I did phone you but nobody answered it.
2 用倒装句来达到强调的目的。
（1）only+状语（或状语从句）放在句首时，主句发生倒装，强调状语部分。Only then did I realize that I was wrong.
Only when the war was over was he able to get back home.
(2) 否定词位于句首时句子要倒装，强调否定意义。
Never shall I forget it.
Not only was there no electricity, but also no water.
Not a single mistake did he make.
No sooner/Hardly had he reached home than/when it began to rain.
(3) 在结果状语从句中so…. that句型中，如果要强调主句中的so…部分，就必须把so….提前而主句发生倒装。
So tired was I from the journey that I went to bed even without taking a bath. 3．用强调句型：“It is（was）＋被强调的部分＋that（who）＋原句其它部分”来强调说话人的意愿：
注意四点：（1）被强调部分只能是句子的主语、宾语和状语（或because引导的原因状语从句）以及not until从句。
（2）不管被强调部分是什麽，都用that来构成该强调句型。但当被强调部分是人时，可以用who来代替that。
（3）该句型只有两种时态:当陈述句是现在时时，就用is; 当陈述句是过去时时，就用was。
（4）该句型因为是由陈述句转换而来，故有一个重要特点：去掉it is/was 和that后，适当调整句子的剩余部分，句子肯定是完整的。如果不完整就绝对不可能是强调句型。
It was on Monday night that all this happened．所有这一切发生在周一晚上。
It's me that he blamed．他怪的是我。
还应注意该句型的以下三种形式：
及的结构（1）强调句的疑问形式是高考的重点。如；
Was it in the factory that you met the worker and singer?
What is it that you want me to say?
(2) 强调句型在名词性从句中的运用也常在高考题中出现。一定要注意判断。如：
He told me that it was English words that were difficult to remember.
I really don’t know who it was that broke my glasses.
(3) 认真理解下面三个句子，掌握强调句型和定语从句、状语从句的区别：
It was in New York that I met Peter.
(强调句型，因为去掉it was….that 之后，“In New York I met Peter.”仍是一个完整的句子。)
It was New York where/in which I met Peter.
(where/in which引导的是定语从句，修饰New York，it 是指示代词，指地点。) It will be three years before you graduate from our school.
